William Saliba didn’t rule out Madrid offer
Though the 23-year-old has clarified that he is staying at London. But according to the reports of Le10Sport, hasn’t denied the offer from Madrid yet. As every player has a dream to play for clubs like Madrid, who have such a heritage.
The Blancos need a tough player for their future generation who can lead the defence. And there aren’t any better option than Saliba in the world football right now. Madrid’s current backline is facing serious injury issues. And they definitely need winter signings to stay alive for the rest of the season.
If Madrid set their eyes on the Frenchman with a concrete mind then it will be hard for Arsenal to keep him in London.But for now, William Saliba is happy at the Gunners camp while listening to offers from the Spanish capital.
The Frenchman’s current contract with Arsenal expires in the summer of 2027. So, even if the Spanish giants doesn’t want to pay the £90 million for Saliba in the upcoming windows, they can sign him for free two seasons later, if he doesn’t extend his contract.
Madrid will be delighted to have him in the upcoming years as he would still be at his middle 20’s. We’ve already seen them wait a long 5-6 years for Kylian Mbappe. So, they can definitely wait for William Saliba for two more years.
