One Arsenal star is facing uncertain future at the Emirates beyond the current season. He can be soon headed away from North London which will leave a huge void due to player’s importance in the squad.
The star in question here is Thomas Partey who Gunners signed for €50 million. He joined the club in 2020 and has so far played 154 games in Arsenal shirt. Partey has played as both central and holding midfielder. In addition, he was also used as right back by Arteta on different occasions.
Partey will be out of current contract at the end of this season. As of now, there are no reports about him extending his stay. He is set to leave as free agent alongside his midfield partner Jorginho. In addition, Tierney is also going to join Celtic on a free transfer.

CaughtOffside earlier reported that Gunners have opend talks about extension with Partey’s agent. But, they also added that the 31 year old is not in rush to sign new contract due to interest from other top clubs. He is looked upon by Juventus, Barcelona and PSG. Now, there are opposite reports coming about the Ghanaian’s future.
Charles Watts has reported that Partey’s camp is feeling like Gunners will not push to offer a new contract. The report states that the North London club are instead planning on to bring new faces at the club. Hence, Partey can be very likely be on a move away from North London in summer.
Who will replace Partey at Arsenal?
As of now, Arsenal have Martin Zubimendi as their top target for summer. He can be signed by paying his €60 million release clause. In addition, Gunners are also keen to land Sverre Nypan from Rosenborg. Lastly, the North London club are amongst the multiple clubs showing interest in Bayern Munich ace Joshua Kimmich who can be signed on a free transfer in summer.
