Arsenal star to be sidelined for more than a month

One Arsenal star is set to be sidelined for more than a month. He has recently suffered hamstring injury and is currently in recovery process. This has now added to Mikel Arteta’s ongoing problems putting the Spaniard in trouble.

Gunners have been tested multiple times this season due to injuries. Many of their first team members have been injured which has resulted in them dropping key points. Most of the injured stars have been from attacking department making them weak in final third.

Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka are already out with serious injuries. Saka may miss two more months whereas Jesus will be out for atleast 9 months. Hence, the North London club were said to make some attacking signings in the January transfer window.

However, Gunners ended the window without making any new additions. This was then followed by another of their regular starter getting injured. The star in question is Gabriel Martinelli who has added to the worries of Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal handed big blow regarding Martinelli

Gabriel Martinelli suffered hamstring injury while playing against Newcastle United. He was forced to leave the pitch in the 39th minute. There were tests carried out quickly after his surgery and the results have came out.

David Ornstein has reported that Martinelli will miss more than a month on the pitch. He will miss many of the upcoming games and can even miss Arsneal’s UCL round of 16 clash too. This will come as a big blow for Gunners who are already short in attacking department.

Mikel Arteta has a big job on his hands right now. He has to work out on finding the best possible solution as soon as possible. As of now, it seems that Ethan Nwaneri will start on the right wing position but Arteta can take other decisions depending on situation too.
