Arsenal target prefers a move to Liverpool this summer

One of the priority Arsenal target has handed them a major blow. As per the latest reports, he prefers a move to their English rivals Liverpool.

It will be a massive summer window for Gunners this year. They failed to sign any player in January despite being in desperate need. This is enough to suggest that they may not hold back spending big in summer.

As of now, striker and winger are the top priorities of the North London club. In addition, there will be an addition of keeper along with some midfielders. Overall, it will be a very busy window for them.

As for midfielders, Gunners are said to sign Martin Zubimendi whereas they are also said to be in pole position to sign Sverre Nypan. As for the keeper, Joan Garcia seems to join the North London club.

This leaves winger and striker position. Gunners are keen to sign Nico Williams and if we go by reports they may get the deal done. Lastly, as for strikers there are two names popping up out of which one has now handed Gunners with a blow.

Arsenal handed major blow by their striker target

The star in question here is Alexander Isak. Gunners have been long term admirers of the 25 year old. But, TEAMtalk have reported that Isak is keen to join Liverpool this summer. The Reds are also in search of striker at the moment.

Newcastle United will make it hard for all interested parties to sign Isak. They are said to demand a British transfer record fee for the 25 year old. Earlier, it was reported that he can cost around £130 million.

Isak can also stay at Newcastle but it will depend on their ranking at the end of the season. If Magpies miss out on top four position in league, they may have to sanction Isak’s sell to a club who will be willing to fulfill their demands.
