Arsenal planning to make Luis Campos new sporting director
Recently, Arsenal board and manager Mikel Arteta made the best possible use of international break. They had a meeting with club owners Stan and Josh Kroenke. They discussed two things in particular: January transfer market strategy and Sporting Director recruitment plan.
After the meeting, Sky Sports confirmed Arsenal’s interest in Luis Campos. Campos has been main man for PSG in the recent years. He works as sporting advisior for the French giants.
Firstly, Campos has been very important for PSG in signing top talents like Vitinha, Barcola and Joao Neves. Secondly, he has changed the system of signing on top names and sign top talents instead. Lastly, he has vast experience as he worked with Monaco and Lille before joining PSG.
Arsenal have not yet came to final decision but Campos can be a great fit for the role. In addition, he will be out of his current contract at the end of this season. This says that all the dots are connecting but we will have to wait longer and watch how the story unfolds.
