Arsenal target’s contract situation raises doubts

The duo was desperate to sign a striker this summer but was unable to pull it off. Alexander Isak was one of the names linked with Arsenal who is now giving signals about his future.

Isak has been on of the best strikers across whole Europe. He was the best player for Newcastle United last season as he netted 25 goals in all competitions. In addition, Isak was third highest goal scorer in Premier League with 21 goals.

Isak wants a contract with high payment and release clause. He will be the highest paid player in the squad and release clause will assure that he can leave anytime a suitable bid pops up.

Except the contract situation, Isak is very happy at Newcastle. Earlier, he said that he is enjoying himself very much. He added that he loves the fans, the club and the city.
