As the transfer deadline day has arrived Arsenal are thinking of making a move for Houssem Aouar as another midfield addition. The team is struggling after suffering three defeats in the Premier League and wants to have more changes for a comeback. It seems adding Martin Odegaard in the midfield is not doing the job as the Gunners chase Houssem Aouar as a new midfielder.

The 23-year-old has been playing in the Ligue 1 with Olympique Lyon since 2016 and has appeared 174 times for the French side. Playing in the midfield regularly Aouar has been able to score 32 goals and 32 assists in all competitions. But he might be looking for a change this season showing his ability in some other league.

Currently, two premier league sides Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are having the possibility of adding the Frenchman to their squad. And with the latest reports, the Gunners might be able to land Aouar before the deadline ends, as Spurs are still thinking and analyzing the move.

It is all open as we can see how Arsenal are struggling after three defeats and standing at last in the Premier League table. If not done anything soon the Gunners might have to might their way out of the relegation spot at the end of the season. So, Mikel Arteta seems to add a new playmaker in the midfield for making more scoring options for the forwards.

And looking for a good midfield addition Arteta wants to get his hands onto Aouar before the transfer market ends. As of now there has been no official talks held between the two clubs, but it is no doubt Arsenal are keen to sign Houssem Aouar. But before that, the Gunners have to load off some of their excess players to make some space for the Frenchman.
