Arsenal thrash Nottingham Forest at the Emirates

Arsenal faced Nottingham Forest at the Emirates. Gunners were able to pick all three points with the help of three goals. They dominated the game entirely and gave absolutely no chance for Forest to survive.

Firstly, Arsenal captain Odegaard assisted Saka who opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 15th minute. Then in 2nd half, Saka picked up an assist. The goal was scored by Thomas Partey who came on as a substitute.

Lastly, the third goal was scored by upcoming Arsenal superstar Ethan Nwaneri. This was his first goal in Premier League. Nwaneri came on as a substitute and quickly capitalized on Raheem Sterling’s assist who also came as a substitute.

Gunners dominated the game with 66% ball possession. They had 19 total shots out of which 7 were on target. On the other hand, Forest had 7 shots but none pf those were on target.

Gunners had upper hand in almost every possible passing stat. They had more passes (538) with more accuracy (91%) than Forest with 239 passes and 81% accuracy. Arsenal had more long balls and throw-ins than Forest who only had more accurate crosses than the hosts.

In defence, Forest had better stats despite conceding three goals. They made more interceptions, clearances, saves and blocks than Gunners. Arsenal did made more tackles than Forest with far better success rate.
