Arsenal are set to hand new contracts to three of their current attackers. This will make them part of Gunners squad for longer and will also make them untouchable to other clubs.
Gunners are set to lose 3 of their current players for free this summer. Those three are Kieran Tierney, Jorginho and Thomas Partey. Tierney has already signed pre-contract with his boyhood club Celtic. Jorginho has agreed personal terms with Brazilian clun Flamengo. Partey will too do the same in the coming time.
The North London club have now learned from their mistakes. They are keen to not let other players leave for free in future. Hence, they are taking decisive action and as of now are keen to secure the future of three attacking stars.
Arsenal to extend contract of 3 attackers
First in the line is Arsenal’s current best player Bukayo Saka. Earlier, the 23 year signed contract extension extending his stay until 2027. He has been superb for Gunners and is backbone of the team. The North London club are aware of Saka’s importance and are willing to extend his stay even further.
The second in the list is Leandro Trossard. Earlier, he was looked upon by Saudi clubs but Gunners rejected the offers straight away. Trossard has been very important player for Gunners on multiple occasions. He is considered as superb sub by fans due to his clutch movements.
Trossard’s extension was said to have stalled due to some reasons. It was also said that Gunners may sell him summer if he doesn’t sign new contract. But as per Football Transfers, he is now close to reach agreement with the North London club.
Last player on the list is Gabriel Martinelli who too has been very important player for Mikel Arteta. Martinelli is said to be offered a new long-term contract despite the talks about Gunners signing new winger. There is a hope that he will stay at North London for longer time.
