Arsenal are surely going to sign a striker this summer. They have many names linked with a move but it is said that they will make a move for either one of two strikers in particular.
The North London club are desperate to sign a striker this summer. They have learnt that they can’t compete for Premier League title without clinical striker. In addition, they are also likely to sign a winger.
Gunners have been linked with many top strikers in the world. They were said to make a move in January but it proved too hard for them. The strikers of their choice were made unavailable by their current clubs due to being in critical time of season. But, it will surely change in summer.
Arsenal have 2 strikers as top priority
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Gunners are keen to make a move for Alexander Isak and Benjamin Sesko. But, the North London club can only sign one out of these two due to their transfer fees. Along with these two, there are many other names in line but these two can be considered as priority.
Gunners wanted to sign Sesko in summer 2024 window itself. But, they failed to convince him and Sesko opted to sign contract extension with Leipzig. However, he is now said to be open to join a bigger club this summer.
On the other hand, Newcastle United are unwilling to let Isak leave. But, they will have to do so if they fail to finish in top four this season. Isak is open to move to bigger club but it will require British record fee to land him.
Both Isak and Sesko have once again been in superb form this season. Sesko still have more chance of ending at the Emirates than Isak. He is lot younger than Isak and will cost very less than the Sweden international too.
