- Juventus are unwilling to let Vlahovic leave but are already looking for his replacement
Arsenal have felt a need to sign a clinical striker this season. They will surely enter the striker market very soon and are already linked with some big names.
Most heavily linked name is Alexander Isak but it will require Arsenal to break the club record in order to sign him. Hence, it is very uncertain if the Sweedish striker will move to the Emirates next year.
The second name linked with club is Viktor Gyokeres who is the most wanted striker in Europe right now. But, Gunners may fail to secure his signature due to their arch rivals Man United.
United have already signed Sporting CP’s coach Ruben Amorim who may convince Gyokeres to join him at Old Trafford. Now, Gunners are planning to sign Juventus striker who too is in top form right now.
Arsenal planning to make a move for Dusan Vlahovic
As per CaughtOffside, Gunners are planning to make a move for Vlahovic in January itself. They are expected to make contact with the striker very soon who may be open to move away from Italy.
Vlahovic joined Juventus from Fiorentina in 2022 for €80 million. He has since played 117 matches for Juve and has scored 50 goals along with picking 10 assists. This season, the Serbian has 9 goals and 1 assist in 16 games so far.
Juve have Vlahovic tied to contract running until 2026. They are keen to extend his stay but are finding it hard to do so at the moment.
