Arsenal are set to miss out on 3 strikers this month. The update has been provided by top source who is well connected with the inside activities of transfer market.

Gunners are in desperate need to sign some attacking players this month. Mikel Arteta has already said that they will be active in the market. But, the North London club is yet to make any progress regarding any attacking signing.

Arsenal to miss out on 3 strikers this month

Earlier, former scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Gunners are showing interest in Yoane Wissa. The Brentford striker is having a superb season as he has scored 11 goals in Premier League so far.

But, Gunners are yet to make any moves for Wissa. Instead, Nottingham Forest have made a £22 million offer to sign the striker. Hence, the North London club is set to miss out on the 28 year old.

Later, Brown said that Arsenal are also keeping tabs on Osimhen and Sesko this month. But, once again they are yet to make any progress in any of those two names. It is often hard for any club to make major signings in January window.

Brown said that Gunners are looking for right striker who will be right fit for the club and who can be available for right price. It is a good strategy but Brown thinks not making move can lead to problems.

“Chances are if Arsenal are interested in a striker, they’re not going to be the only ones looking at him, and if they keep waiting then clubs will move ahead of them and they’ll miss out” – Brown about Arsenal’s inactivity.

“It’s important to make right decision, of course, but as it stands they may end up not signing anybody and then they face the same problems for another six months” – Brown about potential problems of not making move.
