Arsenal are still keen to sign Williams but the deal is very tough right now. Athletic Club are very happy with Williams and have no intentions to sell him. They have clarified that the only way to lure Williams away is by paying his full release clause.
Williams has €58 million release clause in his contract. In addition, his wages make the deal in January very tough. Hence, we may see the 22 year old on move away from Spain very likely in summer.
