Arsenal are showing interest in Italian striker with 19 goals this season. They are joined by thier arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race.
Gunners are surely going to sign a striker this summer. They have been linked with many top names over the recent months. Mikel Arteta has learned the importance of clinical striker and hence is ready to splash big money for it.
On the other hand, the situation is far more worse for Tottenham. They are on 14th position in Premier League and headed to another trophy-less season. Their only hope to win a trophy this season is Europa League.
Spurs need a major shakeup in their squad as soon as possible. The club is now aware of the situation and some key changes will be seen before the start of next season. A new striker is expected from them too.
Arsenal and Spurs both interested in Italian striker
Nicolo Schira has reported that both Gunners and Spurs are showing interest in Moise Kean. Kean is 24 years old and is having a superb season with Fiorentina. He has scored 19 goals and picked 2 assists in 28 games this season.
Kean can be looked upon as long-term investment. In addition, he also has Premier League experience and he can cost far less than other options. Fiorentina are very happy with Kean at the moment but can agree to part ways for a fair price.
Gunners do have many other options in the market. They have Benjamin Sesko and Alexander Isak as their top priority. But, both of these striker will cost a hefty amount of money especially Isak. It is said that it will require british record fee to lure Isak away from Newcastle United.
As for Spurs, they have signed Solanke in summer 2024 who is their main striker. But, he has been injured and doesn’t have a proper backup. Timo Werner is on loan but has not been able to meet the expectations. He is yet to score any goal in Premier League this season.
