Arsenal to submit €135 million bid for world-class striker

Arsenal FC are very likely to sign a high profile striker next year. As of now, they are very heavily linked with Alexander Isak. The recent reports suggest that they are now willing to break club record to sign the Newcastle United star.

Gunners have felt a need of having a clinical striker this season. Jesus has not been able to prove his worth whereas Kai Havertz has experienced a dip in his form. Havertz is not the one to blame as he is playing in unnatural position.

Mikel Arteta may regret his decision of not signing a clinical striker this summer. In addition, he even parted ways with Eddie Nketiah. As a result, Gunners have dropped some crucial points so far.

But now, North London club has learnt from the current situation and will very likely make a move for striker next year. Many top names have been linked with the club but no final decision is made by the club as of yet.

Arsenal prepared to break club record for Alexander Isak

Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen, Dusan Vlahovic and many more names have been linked with Gunners. But, Alexander Isak is leading the race and has also been reported as the striker who Arteta prefers.

As per Fichajes, Gunners are prepared to spend €135 million for Isak. This will be their club record signing. Current record is £105 million that were being paid to West Ham for Declan Rice in summer 2023.

Isak has already proved himself in the Premier League. He has been very good for Magpies so far which helps the striker to take lead over Arsenal’s other targets.

Newcastle view Isak as a very important player and would like to keep him at the club. But the player will be tempted to move to North London club as it will mean he can play in UCL regularly.

Live Updates

Chelsea have also been interested in signing Isak recently. This will be a blow for Arsenal as it means more competition. There are some reports that state that Barcelona have too entered the race for Isak. The Spanish giants will look for replacement of their ageing striker Robert Lewandowski. But Barca may find it hard to sign Isak due to their ongoing financial crises.
