Two London giants battle for RB Salzburg wonderkid Dominik Szoboszlai

The London Derby might be kicking off soon however it will be off the Football pitch. This derby will be for acquiring the young Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

Reports suggest that Dominik Szoboszlai is on his way out with both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur looking to sign him.

The 20-year-old Dominik Szoboszlai plays as an Attacking Midfielder for the Austrian Champions RB Salzburg. After signing for the club in the 2017/18 season Szoboszlai has continued to impress everyone in Hungary and Austria.

The youngster has already bagged 5 Goals and 9 Assists in all competition at club level this season. Szoboszlai also scored the crucial goal which resulted in his Hungarian National team Euro 2020 qualifying win over Iceland. With stats like this he already is one of the top attacking midfielders this season all over Europe.

Dominik Szoboszlai has a £23million release clause at RB Salzburg in his current contract. This has brought the London Giants to the Austrian side’s doorstep for promising young talent.

Arsenal to offer installment deal for Dominik Szoboszlai?

The Gunners were one of the first clubs to recognize the potential of the young Hungarian. If they manage to finalize a deal Szoboszlai will definitely be on his way to the red side of London.

According to multiple reports from DailyMail and Mirror, they are looking into breaking down the £23million fee into 3 separate installments. Just like they did with the Nicolas Pepe deal.

North London giants are struggling this season, with just 12 points from the opening 8 league fixtures.

Jose Mourinho also wants Szoboszlai at Tottenham Hotspur

After the departure of Eriksen and the dip in Dele Alli’s form, Jose Mourinho is left without an attacking midfielder. Mourinho boosted his squad with signings like Reguilon, Doherty, Vinicius, and Bale in the summer transfer window and already looking forward to his January spending.

Dominik Szoboszlai might not look like a Mourinho player but considering the sheer amount of talent he has he will fit in well.

Tottenham Hotspur are in great form in English Premier League this season. They sit at 2nd position in the league table with 17 points from the opening 8 league fixtures.
