Arsenal transfer news: Arteta ready to let 7 stars leave in summer

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is said to let 7 of his currents stars leave this summer. This departures will allow the Gunners to land some of their top targets.

Gunners are set for a very big summer transfer window. They made no signings in the January window despite running out of attacking options. But, this made it clear that there will be a lot of activity from their side in summer.

As of now, the North London club is linked with many big name stars. They have players like Isak, Sesko, Nico Williams, Cunha and many more on their radar. But, in order to land these players, Gunners will need to have proper financial planning.

Arsenal boss set to let 7 current stars leave

The Daily Mail have reported that Mikel Arteta is likely to part ways with 7 stars. First in the line are both loan stars – Neto and Raheem Sterling. Sterling has failed to impress the club and hence is unlikely to have future at the Emirates. Neto is also said to leave as Gunners are planning to sign Joan Garcia from Espanyol.

Three current Arsenal stars will be out of contract in summer. All of these stars are set to leave for free. Thomas Partey is yet to find a new club whereas Jorginho and Tierney were already close to leave this window.

Jorginho was wanted by Flamengo whereas Tierney was wanted by his boyhood club Celtic. But, Arteta opted to part ways in the middle of the season due to ongoing injury crises.

Last two players on the list are Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior. Zinchenko has interest from Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid. Kiwior is looked upon by multiple Italian club out of Napoli already made a move in January. But, the offer was rejected by the North London clubs due to finding the transfer fee way less than their original demands.
