Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are all keen to sign Sverre Halseth Nypan. It is reported that United have lead in the race but will surely face a heavy competition for the youngster.
Who is Sverre Halseth Nypan?
Nypan is 17 years old Norwegian player who plays for Rosenborg. He mainly plays as central midfielder but can play as an attacking midfielder. What makes him special is that he can feature as a striker too if required.
Nypan broke in the first team in 2022 when he was just 15 years old. He then played 26 matches last season and scored 5 goals along with picking 1 assists. This season he has developed even further and hence is catching eyes of top clubs.
The 17 year old has played 26 League games this season. He has scored 7 goals and picked 7 assists in the process. By adding goals and providing regular assists, Nypan has increased his market value too.
Premier League giants keen to sign Nypan
As per the report from TBR Football, Rosenborg are now ready to part ways with Nypan. It may require £10 million to lure the player away from the club but the final price may reach £20 million due to add-ons. The report further stated that at the moment Arsenal, United and Liverpool are keen to sign the youngster.
Man United are confident about making the deal happen. They want it to be the first signing of Ruben Amorim era. United can provide a suitable atmosphere for Nypan’s development before making him a regular member.
Gunners will view Nypan as the next Martin Odegaard. Nypan can view Odegaard who is now Arsenal’s captain, as an example and can follow his footsteps to move to North London.
Lastly, Liverpool will be looking to add to their attacking depth and prepare for future. They may have the least chance in signing the youngster but have already made contact with player’s representatives same as Arsenal.
