Arsenal & West Ham told to sign Man United star on loan

Arsenal and West Ham United are being told to sign one Manchester United star on loan this month. England and Premier League legend has made the statement who spoke very highly about the United star.

The star in question here is Man United academy graduate Marcus Rashford. The 27 year old has been with Red Devils throughout his whole career. However, there has been fallout between him and the club recently.

Rashford has fallen down the pecking order and has been left out by Ruben Amorim on multiple occasions. His performances have also been dipped and hence the Red Devils are open to part ways with him. The permanent transfer is proving hard at the moment which can result in 27 year old leaving on loan.

Arsenal & West Ham tipped to sign Rashford on loan

Former English international and Premier League great Joe Cole spoke about the Rashford situation on Al Arabiya News podcast. He spoke highly about the 27 year old and then urged Gunners and Hammers to sign him on loan.

Joe Cole thinks that Rashford plays best when he is on the left side of the pitch. He added that the 27 year old struggles when being used centrally. Cole then explained why he can be a key asset on loan.

Cole said that if he was West Ham manager he would have requested the chairman to sign Rashford. Later, he would have held talks with Rashford to ask what he wants and make it happen through man management.

“If he goes on loan to West Ham, plays 15 games, and does what Lingard did, let me tell you: clubs will be lining up to sign him” – Cole comparing Rashford with Lingard’s loan stint in 2020/21 season.

“I don’t think Manchester United see themselves competing with Arsenal for this season, so if the money is right, it could happen” – Cole about Arsenal’s chances of landing Rashford.

Any of the interested clubs will need to cover minimum of half of Rashford’s current salary. The 27 year old currently earns £325,000 per week. Gunners already have Neto and Sterling on loan. If they want to sign Rashford on loan, they will need to release Neto or turn his deal into permanent.
