Arsenal are willing to make a move for top Chelsea target in the summer transfer window. But, they will do so if their current superstar leaves the club at the end of this season.
Arsenal star William Saliba is heavily looked upon by Real Madrid. As per the reports, he is being made top priority by Los Blancos. Gunners are unwilling to sell Saliba and have made their intentions clear. It will require world-record transfer fee to lure Saliba away from Spanish giants.
If Saliba leaves the North London club, it will leave a huge void in the squad. Mikel Arteta will then have a very big job of finding a proper replacement for the 23 year old. As of now, they are linked with English defender who is top target of their london rivals Chelsea.
Arsenal showing interest in Marc Guehi
According to Football Insider, Gunners will try to sign Marc Guehi if Saliba leaves this summer. Their first priority will be to keep the hold of Saliba. But, if the Frenchman forces the move and Madrid fulfill Arsenal’s demands, we will very likely see Saliba in La Liga next season.
Marc Guehi is top target of Chelsea for the summer window. The Blues are surely going to sign some top defenders. Guehi has been their target since a long-time and the 24 year old is very likely to move away from Crystal Palace in summer.
Guehi has been Chelsea’s academy graduate and hence the Blues can convince him to join them easily. In addition, they have sell-on clause in his contract which will allow them to sign the player on lower fee.
Crystal Palace will have to sell Guehi in summer itself or they may lose him for free next summer. The player will enter last year of his current contract and is unwilling to extend his stay at Palace.
