Arsenal are willing to trigger the release clause of their Spanish target this summer. They have monitored the player since long time and even made moves last summer. They are now said to take the next step and land the player this summer.

Garcia has established himself as one of the best keepers in La Liga. He is 23 years old which will make him a long-term investment. Garcia has played 29 games this season and has recorder 5 clean sheets. In addition, he has made 106 saves to keep Espanyol out of the relegation zone. It will be a very smart signing if Arsenal are able to pull it off.
