Arteta told to sell star with 73 Premier League goals in January

  • Arsenal fans are urging Arteta to sell Jesus in January
  • Jesus has scored 73 goals in Premier League so far
  • The Brazilian striker is in very bad condition right now
  • Gooners seem to have lost faith in the 27 year old

Gabriel Jesus arrived to Arsenal from Man City as a seriel Premier League winner. He was very good under Pep Guardiola. Arteta too worked with him in the past which triggered his move to North London.

But it was not the same for the Brazilian since joining Gunners. He failed to leave his mark and fell out of favor last season. Jesus ended the last season with just 4 goals which resulted in him falling down the pecking order.

This season, Jesus is yet to record any goal or assist in the Premier League. He has played 10 league games so far but has not been able to make any difference. This has caused a lot of disappointment amongst the Arsenal fans.

Arsenal fans urging Arteta to sell Jesus in january

Gooners once again found a reason to tell Arteta that he should now stop placing faith in Jesus. The Brazilian started the game against Nottingham Forest but was once again unable to live upto the expectations.

Jesus played the whole match but was unable to score or assists. He had only 1 shot which too was not on target. He did create 2 chances and helped the team a little bit in defending.

Along with 0% shooting accuracy, Jesus has 0% dribble success. He was dispossessed 2 times and was caught offside 2 times as well. He lost 4/5 ground duels and 3/4 ariel duels too. All stats are as per FOTMOB.

This is way below average performance from someone like Jesus. Arsenal fans have taken notice of this and are urging Arteta to sell him in January. Gunners want a hefty fee but from his recent performances, no club will agree to pay a big amount of money.

Gunners should part ways with suitable price and then spend big on a more clinical striker. They can’t win titles without a proper number nine and hence Arteta should now take some bold decisions otherwise bid farewell to the titles for sure.
