How much will De Ligt cost
Bayern Munich have demanded around £51 million for De Ligt. Journalist Dean Jones told GiveMeSport, that it fits perfectly into United’s budget for defender. United are not willing to spend more than £50 million for defender. Previously, the club made a bid of £43 million for Jarrad Branthwaite. However, Everton rejected the deal as they are demanding £70 million for the defender.
De Ligt on the other hand fits perfectly in United’s budget and even has experience playing under Erik Ten Hag. The dutch defender made 70 appearances under Ten Hag in his time at Ajax and caught attention from top clubs. He moved to Juventus before Bayern but was unable to achieve the same results he got at Ajax. De Ligt has lost his place as regular starter for the German giants. Dayot Upamecano, Kim Min-jae and Eric Dier have gained the favour of Bayen Manager pushing De Ligt backwards. According to reports, De Ligt has given a green signal to join United and is looking forward to be a regular starting defender once again.
