Atalanta vs AC Milan: Preview and Predicted Line-up

AC Milan will be travelling to Bergamo on Sunday night to encounter Atalanta in an extremely crucial fixture of Serie A.

After enduring a heartbreaking defeat against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, the Rossoneri will be looking to bounce back as soon as possible.

On the other hand, following a victory against the Swiss champion Young Boys in Europe, La Dea will be looking to keep their winning run going against Stefano Pioli’s side.

Atalanta vs Milan Preview:

After a disappointing start to the new campaign. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side is currently unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions. La Dea is currently sitting seventh in the league with 11 points in six games. They are currently seven points behind the league leader Napoli.

On the other hand, the Rossoneri have started the league campaign brilliantly as they are second at the moment with 16 points in six games. However, Pioli’s side is having a tough time in Europe as they have lost their first two games and are sitting at the bottom.

Having suffered two consecutive defeats in Europe, Milan is still searching for its first win in the Champions League since 2013.

Meanwhile, Atalanta has a better record in this encounter over the past few campaigns as they have managed to achieve seven victories in recent times to Milan’s five.

However, in terms of head-to-head between both managers. Pioli has a slight edge over Gasperini. The Milan boss won eight times to Atalanta boss’ seven.

After snatching one point from the Serie A champions Inter, La Dea will be looking to win. A win against the Rossoneri this time at home.
