Barcelona lose title hopes after consecutives draws with Atletico and Levante

La Liga has turned to be mind-blowing for the fans in its last stage, with only a couple of games to go. But it may be disappointing for Barca fans as the chances for Barcelona to win the league may be over.

Barcelona had a pretty good run after the mid-season but they choked during the most important time of the league as they suffered a huge blow after their two consecutive draws in the league.

They were held by Atletico Madrid for a goalless draw on Saturday where they had a chance to be on the driving seat of the league by winning against them.

They repeated the same result on Wednesday as they went to draw 3-3 against Levante, with this draw they may be out of hopes to win the league title.

Barcelona was going smooth during the first half as they led by two goals with the help of Lionel Messi in the 25th minute and Pedri in the 34th minute.

But they blew the lead in the second half as two quick goals were scored by Gonzalo Melero in the 57th minute and Jose Morales in the 60th minute, but Barcelona was able to get back in the game with a goal from Ousmane Dembele in the 64th minute,

The game finished 3-3 with an 83rd-minute equalizer from the substitute Sergio Leon, with this draw they lost important 2 points and sit second on the table with 76 points. But the second place is temporary as Real Madrid could climb to their spot if they win against Granada this Friday.
