Bad luck continues for Arsenal as key man ruled out for 3 months

  • Arsenal are set to miss Ben White for three months
  • The 27 year old recently underwent a knee surgery
  • This will increase Mikel Arteta’s problems as his side has been highly injury ridden

Arsenal have been highly tested this season due to injuries. Many of their key players have suffered injuries. This has resulted them to sit on 4th position in the Premier League. The ranking could have been way better if it was not for injuries.

Gunners have so far missed some big names like Saka, Odegaard, Merino, Calafiori and Timber so far. Mikel Arteta has been very unlucky due to this situation and is hoping that the players stay injury free for the rest of the season.

But, it seems like Arteta’s prayers are not being listened too. Now, another one of their main star is set to miss the crucial period of the season. This will surely be a huge blow for Arsenal.

Arsenal to miss Ben White for 3 months

Ben White was suffering from knee problems since the start of the season. His form seemed to dip and hence Gunners took the decision of looking deep into this matter. As a result, White underwent a knee surgery.

Mikel Arteta already revealed that White may take months to recover. Now, The Daily Mail have revealed an important update about the situation. They have stated that the 27 year old will miss around 3 months.

Arsenal will surely miss White operating on the right flank. The 27 year old has played a major for Gunners in the past two season. Mikel Arteta will hope that the Englishman recovers soon but will not take any risk until the defender is fully fit.

Jurrien Timber is very likely to play as right back in the absence of White. He may be backed by Takehiro Tomiyasu who is nearing his return to football. Arteta will continue to hope that injury crises leave Arsenal for good and they can once again challenge for Premier League title.
