Barca have joined Man United in the race to sign young Spanish star. The player has been very good this season. He has €100 million release clause which his current club want to be paid fully.
Barcelona are headed to the summer window with an aim of signing a new striker. Robert Lewandowski has been superb this season. But, he is approaching the end of his career. On the other hand, Ferran Torres has not been very clinical while playing as striker.
As for Manchester United, they are in desperate need of a new striker. Both Hojlund and Zirkzee have failed to impress so far. The Red Devils are open to sell both of them in order to raise funds. Ruben Amorim wants a clinical striker who will score regularly.
Barca & Man United both keen to sign Spanish striker
Man United are showing interest in 21 year old Samuel Aghehowa. He joined FC Porto last summer and ever since has been unstoppable. He has scored 24 goals and picked 3 assists this season. In addition, he has also made his debut for Spain national team.
According to Sempre Barca, Barcelona have joined the race for Aghehowa. They want to pair him with Lamine Yamal to build a future ready squad. The player can be easily convinced as this will come as a major step-up in his career.
Aghehowa has €100 million release clause in his contract. The Portugese giants will want this to be paid fully. But, as of now both United and Barca are struggling with financial issues. Hence, this may result in failure of deal.
United do have other options available in the market. They have Gyokeres, Osimhen and Delap as the top targets. As for Barca, they can manage to see out another season with Lewandowski. But, they will surely have to find his replacement soon.
