Barca registers all signings except one

Julian Araujo

It is here. The moment and the miracle every cule was hoping for. The Board led by Laporta and his trusted men has made every move possible to register the Blaugrana’s new signings. After weeks of speculations and words of critique from a few football ‘pundits’ and journalists, Barca has registered four of their five new signings. Along with the signings, the renewal of Dembele and Roberto has also been accepted by the League authorities.

One of President Joan Laporta’s promises ahead of the presidential campaign was that he would bring Barca back to glory. With Xavi’s first transfer market, Laporta and his colleagues have pulled off one of the most fabulous transfer recruitments. Xavi asked for several players that he saw as a perfect fit for his strategy. The board delivered it. Mateu Alemany and Jordi Cruyff were essential during the chain of events along with Laporta.

Barca’s Strategy to register the signings.

After Barca’s advanced deal with GDA Luma to sell 24.5% stakes of Barca Studios fell through, there was only a bleak hope that they would be able to register the players. However, the Barca board came through with it, as if sensing that the whole football world was doubting their capabilities to manage their club. The club they love.

The fourth Lever was made official yesterday. Orpheus Media brought a 24.5% stake at Barca Studios for 100 million euros. The owner, Jaume Roures, was also a financial benefactor of Laporta’s campaign.

The wage cut for Pique stalled after the league didn’t find it too necessary since the Garnet and Blues already have the 1:1 spending rule. The only registration left is that of Jules Kounde. The club feels that Jules needs more time to recover from his injury. Thus, it now has up to August 31st to register the player as well as all the new signings it would make.

The Board will look to carry on more outgoings. Recent reports state that Collado is close to joining Elche on loan. Memphis Depay is also close to reaching an agreement with Juventus for a two-year contract.

Xavi now has all the necessary players in his team before tonight’s season opener against Rayo Vallecano.
