Julian Araujo

FC Barcelona is reportedly not happy with the actions of Martin Braithwaite. The club is frustrated with how Braithwaite has done things over the last weeks. It has speculated a lot of transfer news recently in the news. Barcelona feels that its public image is damaged with Braithwaite not accepting a solution. The 31-year-old is adamant to stay and complete his contract with the club. However, Xavi has told him that it is not his plan and must leave to find a new club.

The news by not taken well by the danish forward. Braithwaite feels Barcelona has been unprofessional and poor in managing his situation. But problems have been on the end of both the parties. Barcelona wants Braithwaite out of the club at any cost. They even offered him a letter of freedom to make it easy for other clubs to sign him. But Braithwaite has so far refused all solutions offered by Barcelona. It is unclear why Braithwaite is adamant to stay at a place where he is not needed.

The club now feels that they have had enough of his behavior. They are now considering legal actions to seek retaliation. The player’s actions have increased Barcelona’s frustration, and it has come to a point where the club is looking to seek retaliation. The Catalans are considering the possibility of terminating Braithwaite’s contract without paying any compensation. But social media have not responded well to these actions by the club. Barcelona has been blasted for treating Braithwaite unprofessionally with some fans calling it Bullying. Braithwaite is merely trying to complete his contract at the club.

Barcelona’s squad for 2022/23

Xavi has got immense talent at his disposal. Barcelona had a brilliant transfer window this summer. The coach got all the players he had in his mind. Robert Lewandowski, Kessie, Kounde, Raphinha, and Christensen are all now officially Barcelona players. But it does not seem to be over yet. Marcos Alonso is almost a Barcelona player and they are now pursuing Bernardo Silva.

The coach is under immense pressure but this is common at a club like Barcelona. The squad is world class but so have to be the performances. Fans expect the team to challenge for all titles and so do the players. The team drew 0-0 with Rayo last weekend in what was a game with so many chances. But they will be looking to kick off against Real Sociedad in the right way.
