Barcelona fans are on cloud 9 after hearing about the deal. The amount itself is such that would make Barcelona’s crunching debt situation go away. Furthermore, money is something that is of utmost importance to the club after going through a financial crisis.

Barcelona’s Spotify deal would make the music company the main sponsor for the shirt of the men’s and women’s teams of Barcelona. The deal also includes giving Spotify the naming rights of Barcelona’s home stadium Camp Nou. The new name for the club according to RAC1 is going to be Spotify Camp Nou.

The Mega deal between Barcelona and Spotify

Having seen the numbers in the Spotify deal, it’s far easy now to say that FC Barcelona will boast some financial power. The deal will be music for all the Culers hoping to see big names like Haaland next season in their club.

Barcelona’s aspirations for the next transfer markets are quite high. They are reportedly in the market for getting a whole new backline for the club. Without a doubt, they are having the resources now for that.

The current deal with Rakuten saw the club receive €55m per year which is almost half of what the club will receive now with Spotify. The music company will also be the first in history to hold the naming rights of the club stadium and will appear on the front of both men’s and women’s shirts.

With the money coming in from Spotify, FC Barcelona would look to complete all their transfers and get back in all competitions. The deal so far isn’t sitting well among many supporters but if the end result is good then who cares. Winning the Champions League will be of utmost priority for the club and its players now.
