The star in question here is Thomas Partey. Mundo Deportivo have reported that Barca are keen to sign Partey on free transfer in summer. This can be an excellent move for the Spanish giants considering the quality of Ghanaian.
Partey is 31 years old and has some more years to offer at the highest level. In addition, he already has experience of playing on the Spanish soil. He played 5 seasons for La Liga toppers Atletico Madrid before joining Arsenal.
This will come as a big loss for Gunners. Mikel Arteta will lose one of his most trusted players. In addition, the player will leave for free. Partey has been main starter for Arsenal this season too. He has already played 25 games for the club.
Partey is not the only one leaving Gunners for free. Along with him, Jorginho who also plays in same position is set to leave at the end of the season.
