Barcelona must thank Pep Guardiola for Lewandowski’s transfer

Premier

Robert Lewandowski made the sensational switch from Bayern to Barcelona this season. The Polish striker was long speculated to move to the Camp Nou as Xavi had publicly admitted his wish to work with Lewy. Lewandowski, 34, is now a part of a dream Barcelona attack. He has revealed in recent interviews how it was his dream one day to play for Barcelona. It was Xavi who called Lewy to explain his project to the Former Bayern man and convince him to join them.

Lewandowski has now revealed that it was former coach Pep Guardiola also who is an inspiration for him. Lewy revealed that he always loved playing under Guardiola and Xavi is really similar to him in all aspects. The Barcelona-born manager played under Guardiola for 4 seasons and was arguably the most important part of his midfield. Lewy was thus very keen to play under Xavi and feels that even at 34, he feels that he has so much to offer.

Barcelona are now looking stronger than ever with Lewy in their ranks. The club has already renewed Dembele, signed Raphinha, and now Lewandowski also. They are looking to challenge for La Liga and Champions League this season after last season’s turmoils. With the attack, Barca have also reinforced the defence this time. Ronald Araujo and Jules Kounde will be looking to partner up in central defence for Xavi.

Bernardo Silva to Barcelona very close

After all the brilliant transfers Barca has done so far, Bernardo Silva also looks set to join the Catalans. According to reliable journalist Gerard Romero, Barcelona have agreed on a price for Silva with Manchester City. The price is known to be really affordable for Barcelona as they feel it is quite a bargain. Pep Guardiola has publicly admitted that if Bernardo wants to leave, then he would not be stopping him

Meanwhile, Bernardo Silva has also admitted it is his dream to play for Barcelona but he is not aware of what is going to happen with his future. He would be happy to stay but if he does leave, then it will be for Barcelona. Barcelona looks to be building a club for the future and now it seems like they are learning from their past mistakes. They are not overspending on players in the market and are doing brilliant negotiations. It seems like it would not be long until the Catalans are back to their best winning the best trophies!
