According to several reports, FC Barcelona have offered Juventus a chance to sign their forward Antoine Griezmann. As Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer to Manchester United was announced, the Catalans saw the opportunity to off-load Griezmann. Barcelona have been trying to get rid of the Frenchman due to his poor form and high wages but didn’t find a suitable buyer. But with only a few days to go in the transfer market they might see Griezmann leaving for Juventus.

The Frenchman joined Barcelona back in 2019 with a high price tag of €120 million, it was justified then due to his form. But as he started playing for Barcelona, it was not the same kind of player we had seen in the earlier years. Paying for the Catalans in the upfront he scored 35 goals in 101 appearances.

As a result of his degrading performance and high maintenance, Barcelona are trying to get rid of him. But all the tries were lost in hope as no one is ready to sign the Frenchman in their team. But a great opportunity has come running into Barcelona’s hands as Cristiano Ronaldo left Juventus on Friday. And grabbing the opportunity, Barcelona have offered Juventus a chance to sign Antoine Griezmann this summer.

As the clock ticks fast for Juventus in the transfer market they will be looking to inject a forward as soon as possible. And with not many good options left Griezmann could be a potential deployment in the wing this season. However, Juventus are also looking for the possibility to sign Eden Hazard on loan from Real Madrid.

As of now there have been no official talks held between Barcelona and Juventus regarding the transfer of Griezmann. But there is a 50/50 chance of the Frenchmen leaving this summer. 50% chances are of leaving as Barcelona are eager to get rid of his high wages. While the other 50% staying as Ronald Koeman includes Griezmann in his plan after Lionel Messi’s departure.
