Barcelona target willing to extend his deal with Bundesliga club: ‘I love the club’

Youssoufa Moukoko, a youngster for Borussia Dortmund who made his professional football debut at age 18. He is a sought-after player in European football right now. Due to his contract expiring at the end of the current campaign, Moukoko is now one of the most sought-after players in Europe, with Barcelona among the teams showing interest in his services.

What was Youssoufa Moukoko’s reaction to this transfer news

Recently, the 18-year-old broke his silence over his predicament and provided a detailed update on his future. He has made it clear that he adores his life in Dortmund right now, but he has also hinted that he is open to leaving if the German powerhouses do not present him with the ideal opportunity.

He said

“I feel so comfortable at BVB, I love the club. I’d really love to stay at Borussia Dortmund”

Moukoko, who is only 18 years old, has played for Dortmund in 59 games. Six of his goals have come during the current Bundesliga season, giving him a total of 11 goals and nine assists. Sebastien Haller’s absence has made Moukoko’s contributions to Dortmund’s attacking unit crucial. The player seems content with his situation at the team and has even referred to manager Edin Terzic as a father figure.

However, the striker wants the club to give him the right perspective so he can stay at BVB for a longer period of time. He added:

“I want to understand what kind of project and perspective the club will offer me, it’s an important point,”

Barcelona is one of the teams interested in signing Moukoko after the season on a free transfer. However, attracting the German striker won’t be easy given Dortmund’s determination to extend his contract and the possibility of fierce rivalry from other teams like Real Madrid for the Catalans.
