Bayern Munich in talks with Lucas Vazquez over a summer move

Real Madrid star, Lucas Vazquez is linked with a move to the German side, Bayern Munich. According to reports, Bayern have already contacted the Spaniard for a move to their club.

Lucas Vazquez has been with Los Blancos since 2007. He is an academy graduate of the Spanish side. Other than spending a year on-loan at Espanyol, his whole life belonged at Real Madrid.

He got his senior call-up in 2010 when he played for the C-team for a year. He was soon promoted to the B-team where he played for 4 years before moving out on loan for his maiden first-team call-up.

Since making his first-team debut for Real Madrid in September 2015, he has become a crucial factor in the club’s success throughout the years. He has featured in almost every match available, except for the previous season where he was out for half the season after having broken his toe.

He was also part of the famous haul Real Madrid had achieved by winning the Champions League 3 years in a row. This season in La Liga, they are only 2 points behind their El Clasico rivals and 6 points behind Atletico Madrid.

Will Lucas Vazquez leave Madrid for Bayern Munich?

Lucas Vazquez’s contract is set to expire in June. They will not want to lose a brilliant player for free, with Sergio Ramos, who is also in a similar situation, is also tipped for a move away from there.

Vazquez is also keen on signing a new contract at Santiago Bernabeu. But the club has other reasons for delaying the process. The pandemic has affected the financial condition of every club inclusive of Real Madrid.

They are looking for new recruits to be their new face of the future. But for that, they will have to create funds in a debt-ridden season. Although selling the players for free won’t help in their budget, they can make way for wages of the new additions.

Here is where Madrid will have the advantage. They know Bayern are looking to sign Vazquez, and they also want to get Alaba. An unusual swap deal will eventually be a win-win situation for both parties.

Premier League clubs Tottenham Hotspur and Everton along with a surprising team, Leeds United, are interested in the Spaniard. Tottenham had been linked with the player since last summer. With Gareth Bale dropping a bombshell on his future with them, they will look at the possibilities to replace him.

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has already got one player from the time he used to manage Madrid, James Rodriguez. The ex-Real Madrid coach will not turn down a chance to get another Madrid blood to the Merseyside club.
