Bayern to make Konrad’s decision this week

Konrad Laimer

Konrad Laimer to German giants Bayern Munich is now on the cards. The 25-year-old midfielder is very much on the hunt by many top clubs including Bayern Munich. Earlier, Leipzig were clear that they were not in a position to sell Laimer to any club, let alone Bayern. But the recent advancements in transfer news by Leipzig have made it all the more possible.

RB Leipzig have recently shown a lot of interest in signing Timo Werner back from Chelsea. The German club is plotting a move for the German to come back. Leipzig have not been the same since Timo Werner left and nor has this been the case for Werner. The Chelsea man has been pretty disappointing for the blues and has not scored as a striker should have. Chelsea already are exploring options for his departure which is becoming a possibility day by day.

Leon Goretzka is out for a long time after a serious injury. There are several doubts over whether he would be able to maintain his old form. Bayern Munich being skeptical, have already made up their mind over getting Laimer if they are able to strike a deal with Leipzig. Laimer would be a perfect choice with Sabitzer and Gravenberch in the midfield. As for Leipzig, Werner may just bench every one of their attackers given his history with Bundesliga.

Bayern have big pressure next season

Bayern Munich once again showed everyone that they are master negotiators when it comes to signings. The Bavarians have managed to once again sign top players within budget and also carried on departures. Robert Lewandowski and Niklas Sule left ,replaced now by Sadio Mane and De Ligt. Mazaraoui will be the starting at right back for the Germans.

Ryan Gravenberch will be the new face of the midfield soon for Bayern. Apart from that, Bayern have invested in a lot of young prospects this summer. This once again is an example of how Bayern are such a well-run club. The German Champions will be burdened with expectations this year. The fans will surely want the team to dominate and win over Europe.
