About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

AC Milan and Atalanta are after Belgian rising star Charles De Ketelaere. A young footballer who became a senior player just 2 years ago is on the radar of 2 Italian giants. Both the clubs have the experience and expertise to develop young player and the player should push for the move.

De Ketelaere had a good season with Club Brugge last season. He made 39 appearances contributing 4 goals and 6 assists. Club Brugge won the Belgian League with a superior 16 point lead over second place Antwerp. They were however knocked out of the Champions League, Europa League and the Belgian Cup.

AC Milan want to sign a creative midfielder. Hakan Calhanoglu left for city rivals Inter Milan leaving the club in search of a midfielder. Midfielders including Isco from Real Madrid and Josip Ilicic from Atalanta are also on the list. Most players are on huge wages and De Ketelaere will be a better signing.

AC Milan will want De Ketelaere

At 6′ 4″ De Ketelaere is an imposing presence in the midfield. He is known for his versitality and intelligent plays between the lines. Papu Gomez left Atalanta this season and a young signing to replace a veteran does not seem like a bad idea.

De Ketelaere got his senior call-up in November 2020 and made his debut against Switzerland. He is among Belgium’s young prospects emerging from the Belgian League.

Any other clubs?

De Ketelaere will be a good addition to either of the teams in the Serie A. However, considering his physic and impressive record in front of goal, he might be a good addition to the Premier League. Teams like Newcastle United and Everton or even Southampton would be a good club to start off with.
