Hector Bellerin is wanted back at his former club, Real Betis, but Barcelona don’t want this move.

Bellerin made his senior debut for the club in 2011 and made over 50 appearances before moving to Arsenal in 2013. He spent seven years at Arsenal before returning to his homeland to join Barcelona.

Current Bellerin and Barcelona connection

However, his time at Barcelona has been far from successful. He has made just 14 appearances for the club this season. He has also been unable to gain as the potential right-back.

Real Betis, who currently sit in sixth in La Liga, need a right-back and have identified Bellerin as a potential target. They are believed to be keen on bringing him back to the club and are reportedly preparing a loan offer for the player.

The Spaniard has ruled out a return to England. Although, there has been speculation about his future with Premier League clubs such as Fulham and Everton showing interest.

Barcelona, who are looking to reduce their wage bill, have the idea of loaning out Bellerin. However, they will only do so if they can find a replacement for the player.

As per reports, Fabrizio Romano said,

“Real Betis want Hector Bellerin back, this is something they wanted since last summer but at the moment there’s no green light from Barcelona. We will see if that changes in the final days of the window.”

Nobody knows what will happen, but it is clear that Real Betis are keen on bringing Bellerin back. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops in the coming weeks.
