Alexander Isak is one of the hottest topic in world football right now. Isak is now being linked with Chelsea who are planning to hijack the plans of Arsenal. There is more to the story as Newcastle United are also expected to make it hard for any of the suitors.

Alexander Isak is having some contract issues currently with Newcastle. He wants a new contract which high salary. This will make him highest earner in the club. In addition, Isak wants a release clause inserted in his new contract.

The Magpies are finding it hard at the moment to accept the player’s demands. But they still consider him a key player and are willing to keep him at the club. Isak on the other hand has a lot of clubs interested in him out of which two are in the big six of Premier League.

Chelsea plotting a move for Isak

According to Fichajes, Chelsea are now plotting a move for the Sweedish striker. They are prepared to pay around €75 million for Isak which may be viewed too low by Newcastle. In addition, the Blues have heavy competition from their london rivals Arsenal.

Chelsea currently have Nicolas Jackson who is doing really well at the moment. He has scored six goals and picked 3 assists in league this season. But, the Blues are still keen to add another striker to their squad. Isak maybe an option but Victor Osimhen still remains as their top priority for the next year.

On the other hand, Arsenal were recently reported to be planning a move of €120 million for Isak. But there is nothing more to the story as of yet. Gunners are in desperate need to sign a striker and hence maybe seen making a bold move next year. In addition, they will part ways with many of current players including Gabriel Jesus.
