Casemiro snubs Turkish offer to stay at Manchester United

Casemiro was said to leave Manchester United this summer. But the talks, slowed down after the transfer market closed in England. Later, after the Premier League fixture against Liverpool the talks once again rised about the Brazilian leaving the club. Casemiro was said to leave the club and join Turkish club Galatasaray.

Casemiro had a very bad game against Liverpool. He was at fault both the times when Luis Diaz scored. Casemiro lost the ball two times in their own final third leading to goals. Later, he was taken off at the half time.

After this match, Casemiro was said to be sold by United. But they only had limited options as the transfer market was closed in most of the countries.

It was open in Turkey until last night. Galatasaray made an attempt to sign Casemiro. But they deal failed and Casemiro is now set to stay at United.

Casemiro rejects bid from Turkish giants

As per Football Insider, Casemiro was ready to join Galatasaray on loan. But he later changed his plan and opted to stay at United. The transfer market in Turkey has now finally closed. This confirms that Casemiro will stay at United atleast until January.

United boss speaks about Casemiro

Erik Ten Hag took time to speak about Casemiro. He said that he needs Casemiro. Ten Hag added he spoke with Casemiro after the Liverpool game. In the defence of the player, Ten Hag said everyone can have a bad day at office.

Later, Ten Hag said that Casemiro had a bad game and now has to overcome it. He added that it is normal in life. Lastly, he ended by saying you have highs and you have lows.

However, Ten Hag dropped Casemiro from the starting eleven against Southampton. Eriksen took the place of the Brazilian midfielder. Later, in the 87th minute Eriksen was taken off and Casemiro was introduced. United won the match by 3 goals and kept a clean sheet.
