Indian Arrows got brutally thrashed by Real Kashmir in 6-0 defeat at Mohun Bagan Ground, Kolkata in the sixth round of fixtures of the I-League.

Title contenders, Real Kashmir have been undefeated in their last five matches and currently placed second on the table with nine points in five matches.

Whereas Indian Arrows have managed to get only one point in six matches, which puts them at the bottom of the league table.

Real Kashmir’s head coach David Robertson used (4-5-1) as teams formation, and has made only one change after their goalless draw against Gokulam Kerala. Playing Farhan in place of Danish.

Indian Arrow’s head coach Shanmugam Venkatesh used the classic (4-3-3) as their formation and after losing with a narrow defeat against Chennai City, Shanmugam made two changes. Parray and Hannan were chosen to be in the starting line up.

Coming into the match on the back of two successive draws, Kashmir showed their swiftness in the field before thrashing their opponents by an embarrassing margin.

After a number of attacks from Kashmir, the Arrows slowly got into the game and put up a fight. And finally threatened Kashmir goal in the eighteenth minute through Fela, BUt failed to score as the ball was saved.

The Snow Leopards finally broke the deadlock in the forty-second minute, through Dicka, as the two teams went into half-time with 1-0 for Kashmir.

Adefemi’s bullet header in the fifty-first minute left the opposition goalkeeper bewildered as the Snow Leopards doubled their lead. Then right after ten minutes defender, Haroon handed Real Kashmir a three-goal advantage.

In the Seventy-fourth minute, Dicka made no mistake and tapped in from a close range to score his second. In the final moments of the match, Lyngdoh and Farooq scored one each respectively to crush Indian Arrows.

The match ended with a massive score-line of 6-0 in the favor of the Snow leopards.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

Aser Pierrick Dipanda: The thirty-one year old Cameroonian got the biggest piece of cake, as he scored a brace in the match.

Real Kashmir will face the Churchill Brothers in their next match upcoming Monday at Kishore Bharati Krirangan. The very next day Indian Arrows will play against RoundGlass Punjab FC at Kalyani Stadium in the I-league.
