Kerala Blasters FC put an end to Hyderabad FC’s winning streak with a solid 1-0 victory at the Tilak Maidan Stadium. With it, they also jump into first place in the league table.
Alvaro Vazquez (42nd) bagged a goal in the first period which went on to be the winner. Thanks to that win, the Blasters have now extended their unbeaten run to 9 matches, climbing to the summit of the table. Level on points with Mumbai City, at 17 in 10 games, Kerala now have a superior goal difference.
Hyderabad, meanwhile, saw their eight-game unbeaten run come to an end, as they dropped to the third in the table, having 16 points from 10 matches.
