According to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, LOSC Lille winger Jonathan Bamba could be leaving the Ligue 1 winners before the transfer market ends. The Frenchman is a subject of interest of three clubs which include, West Ham United, Atalanta, and Bayern Leverkusen. And currently as per several reports, West Ham United are leading the race for signing Jonathan Bamba.

The 25-year joined the Lille side back in 2018 from Ligue 1 rivals AS Saint-Étienne. Since his debut for Les Dogues, Bamba has appeared 130 times for the Ligue 1 champions and scored 22 goals and 24 assists. However, his form and contribution last season are considered the USP in attracting three clubs to get his signature.

Jonathan Bamba played a key role last season as LOSC Lille lifted the Ligue 1 title after a long wait of 10 years. Lille made it to the top of the table with one point difference to last 10 years champions PSG. The Frenchman scored 6 goals and assisted 11 in 38 games to end Les Dogues long Ligue 1 title drought.

Following his influential ability in the wing three clubs are keeping tabs on the Frenchman’s situation. And some good news for the three clubs is that Lille are also considering loading off Jonathan Bamba this summer. The French club are in a bit of financial stress and wants to cut down some costs this season. Due to which they are ready to let go Bamba at a price of €25 million.

As of now only West Ham United have shown some positive signs regarding the signing of the Frenchman. The Premier League side are in need of a winger as they had to let go Lingard to Manchester United after his loan deal ended. And Jonathan Bamba could be a perfect replacement if the Hammers are able to land him this summer.
