West Ham United 1-3 Liverpool Post-Match Analysis:

There is not much to talk about the first half as it was slow and the ball was moving in the middle of the park for the majority of the first half.

West Ham got the first opportunity to open the account but multiple attempts from the different attackers for the Hammers inside the Liverpool penalty box, blocked by Liverpool defenders multiple times.

Klopp’s side got the first chance from a long ball defence, Salah put the ball under control for Shaqiri but Shaqiri’s shot blocked by Craig Dawson.

Liverpool got an opportunity from a pinpoint great pass from Thiago but Origi could not manage to hit the ball on target.

Mohamed Salah managed to hit the ball on target right on the half time mark from a long-range but his tamed shot went straight into the goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski’s hand.

Liverpool started the second half very well and straightway they got the opportunity to go ahead but Salah’s shot efficiently defended by Aaron Cresswell.

Hammers also had a great chance to break the deadlock but Antonio could not hit a glorious opportunity on target.

Eventually, Liverpool found the goal from Mohamed Salah, his curling shot between the West Ham defenders ended up back of the net.

Liverpool extended the margin from one of the best counter-attacks and one of the best goals. They scored in just four touches from their own half to opposition goal. Salah finished an excellent counter quite easily.

They scored the third goal on the 84th-minute mark. Great play from Liverpool inside the West Ham box and unselfish play from Firmino helped Georginio Wijnaldum to score the third Liverpool goal.

In the end, Moyes’ side scored a consolation goal from a corner which was converted by Dawson but it was too little, too late.
