Champions League Draw: Barcelona vs PSG, Chelsea Against Atletico Madrid

The draw for the Champions League Round of 16 took place at the UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday, December 14.

After enthralling Champions League group stages which saw Big clubs like Manchester United and Inter Milan crash out to Europa League. We now have a spicy set of Champions League Round of 16 fixtures draw ahead of the new year.

PSG will be playing Barcelona on the 17th of February Messi will be hoping that Neymar will recover from injury to meet his old friend(maybe even to find a house in Paris).

Ronaldo will be returning to his home country Portugal to face his old club Sporting Lisbon’s rival FC Porto in what would be a crucial game Juventus.

Apart from these, Julian Nagelsmann’s RB Leipzig would be against his idol Klopp’s Liverpool. Chelsea would be facing Atletico Madrid which could turn out to be an exciting test for this young Lampard side.

Bayern Munich are on a mission to retain their European title, having won the top prize unbeaten last season they will face Ciro Immobile’s Lazio.

For Bayern, the task will not be easy because their players are exhausted from playing continuously since the lockdown. Also, This year there’s no winter break for players to cool their engines. They also have let go of Thiago Alcantara to Liverpool which I think will come back to haunt them in the future.

Here have look at all fixture:.

Europa League Draw:

Meanwhile, in Europa League, Manchester United have been drawn against Real Sociedad Europa League, while Arsenal will face Benfica in the last 32 of the competition.

Real Sociedad are currently top of La Liga and have very skillful players like Mikel Merino, Januzaj, and ex-Man City legend David Silva all ready to hurt Solskjaer’s team.

Arsenal will be up against Portuguese side SL Benfica what can be presumed to be a tough fixture for Gunners. Gunners’ domestic form has been disastrous struggling to score goals and Aubameyang looked out of his depth lately But their European form had been decent till now.

As for their North London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur will be facing a comparatively easy fixture against Austrian side Wolfsberger.

While Leicester City will be on-road against Slavia Prague and Italian Giants AC Milan will have to get past Red Star Belgrade to lift their first Europa League title.
