It was a beautiful game of football by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea dominated the entire game and limited Burnley to just a shot which was also off-target.
Manager Thomas Tuchel made 4 changes to the team that played against Wolverhampton bringing in Mason Mount, Timo Werner, Tammy Abraham, and Marcos Alonso. The formation was kept the same 3-4-2-1.
Chelsea dominated from the kick-off till the final whistle was blown. Club captain Cesar Azpilicuetta scored the first goal of the Tuchel-Era from a beautifully constructed team play. The second goal came with a thunderous volley from Marcos Alonso.
Chelsea currently sit in 7th position of the league table. They have registered only 5 points from the last 5 games.
A win was a must for the Blues as it boosted the confidence of players and was much necessary for their upcoming games which are very difficult run of fixtures.
