Chelsea amongst interested clubs to sign Senegalese talent

Chelsea are amongst the clubs interested to sign 21 year old Senegalese talent in the summer window. The Blues are joined by Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City in the race.

The star in question here is Lamine Camara who plays as midfielder for Ligue 1 side Monaco. He is 21 years old and can plays as both holding and central midfielder. Monaco signed him in summer 2024 from Metz by paying £12.5 million.

Camara has played 31 games for Monaco this season. He has been able to register 2 goals along with 6 assists so far. The 21 year old has impressed multiple top clubs across whole Europe with his performances for French outfit.

Camara has 23 international appearances to his name so far. He has been a regular starter for Senegal national team which showcases his quality at such an young age. He surely has a very bright future at a top club ahead of him.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs and City all showing interest in Camara

TBR Football have reported that all Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and City are showing interest in Camara. Along with the English giants, there are multiple other clubs showing interest from across whole Europe. The report states that Monaco are unwilling to sell Camara this summer but they might consider offers if world-class bid arrives from interested clubs.

The Blues have already shown interest in world-class holding midfielders. In addition, Camara is still 21 which makes him perfect fit as per their hiring policy. On the other hand, Liverpool failed to sign Zubimendi last summer and still haven’t signed a new holding midfielder. Hence, they might also step up their interest.

As for Tottenham, they are set for a major changes in summer window. It won’t be a surprise if they enter the market with big offers for top talents. Lastly, Man City are keen to find a perfect backup for Rodri. The Spaniard’s absence have turned this season into worst one under Pep Guardiola.
