Chelsea and Al Ahli are simultaneously in talks with Napoli and Osimhen to secure a deal before the transfer market shuts on Friday.
According to the recent reports Chelsea have made an official offer to Napoli. Italian likely to accept the offer. The current offer is rumoured to be a loan with buy obligation which is what Osimhen had wanted. The Nigerian wants to leave Napoli permanently he was not ready to accept anything below that. Reliable Football transfer corespondent Kaveh Solhekol has claimed that Chelsea are looking at other options since the are unable to compete with the lucrative wage demans of Al Ahli.
He said via Sky Sports news : “Chelsea are now looking at alternative targets to fill the striker position as Al-Ahli are understood to be feeling more hopeful of securing a deal for Victor Osimhen.“
It is certain that if the deal has to go through Osimhen would have to make some comprise in his personal demands. With hours left in the transfer market it would be exciting to see where Osimhen ends up after all.
