Chelsea and Man United could be involved in swap deal soon

Temporary Unemployed Football Agents

Chelsea and Manchester United could be involved in a swap deap very soon. The deal will make their respective attackers switch sides in the middle of the season.

The Blues are very heavily linked with attacking players this month. It is due to Cristopher Nkunku wanting to move away from Stamford Bridge. The 27 year old is unhappy with his current role and is forcing an exit. In addition, the Blues have already lost Mykhailo Mudryk due to suspension regarding doping tests.

Nkunku had already agreed personal terms with German giants Bayern Munich. But, the deal is not yet completed as the Blues are demanding more than £60 million. Despite agreeing terms with Bayern, Nkunku may still stay in England.

Chelsea & Man United considering swap deal

Nkunku had interest from Man United who are parting ways with many of their current stars. Rubem Amorim is unhappy with current squad and wants a complete transformation. Florian Plettenberg has reported that United are still interested to sign Nkunku and have entered the market.

United are in direct talks with Chelsea who are interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho. The Red Devils also want around £60 million for the Argentine and hence we may witness a swap deal in the coming days. But, there is no final decision being made about this matter yet.

Chelsea still rate Nkunku very highly at the moment. But, the 27 year old is forcing an exit and hence the Blues may have to sanction his sale. However, they will only do so if their demands are met. It will be interesting to see if United are able to convince them. Bayern Munich are also not willing to give up on the pursuit of 27 year old just yet. Instead, they are confident that they will land the Frenchman before the deadline day.
