Chelsea and Man United have both shown interest in signing Tyler Dibling from Southampton. The Saints are unwilling to sell him but may have to do so due to current conditions at the club.
Tyler Dibling is 18 year old English player who plays for Southampton. He plays as a central midfielder and can play on right flank too. Despite the young age, he has already established himself as a regulat starter for the Saints.
Dibling has caught attentions from many top clubs this season. He has so far played 16 matches this season and has scored 1 goals and picked 2 assists. His performance against table toppers Liverpool was one of the best in his career.
Chelsea and Man United keen to sign Tyler Dibling
As per CaughtOffside, both Gunners and Red Devils have shown interest in signing Dibling. The Saints are unwilling to sell their talented youngster but may have to do so. Southampton are currently on the 20th position in the Premier League and can get relegated.
This will make it very hard for them to keep hold of top players like Dibling. As a result, they will part ways with the 18 year old and will demand atleast €25 million. Both, Chelsea and United have the ability to agree the deal in this range.
Chelsea are known to sign young players as they have adapted a new strategy. Dibling fits perfectly in that system and hence the move can very likely happen next year. On the other hand, United will also enter a transition period and there will be a lot of changes in the squad. Someone like Dibling can be viewed by the Red Devils as a long-term investment.
Chelsea and United are joined by many other top clubs in the pursuit of Dibling. Newcastle, Tottenham, Aston Villa and West Ham have all shown interest in the 18 year old. It is going to be very hard for the Saints to keep hold of Dibling next year.
